Directions: From Highway 67 at Farmington take 221 West and South to Pilot Knob. At Pilot Knob turn South on Highway 21 to Highway 72 (across from Whistle Stop Junction, the old train station), turn right one block then continue east on 72 Highway. Go past the Arcadia Valley Country Club Golf Course about an 1/4 of a mile and The Baptist Home is on your right.

From Highway 67 at Fredericktown, exit west on Highway 72. Continue on Highway 72 about 20 miles. The Baptist Home is on your left just before you get to the Arcadia Valley Country Club Golf Course (which is on your right).

From Potosi continue South on Highway 21 to Highway 72 (across from Whistle Stop Junction, the old train station), turn right one block then continue east on 72 Highway. Go past the Arcadia Valley Country Club Golf Course about an 1/4 of a mile and The Baptist Home is on your right.

It is the valley of Arcadia," wrote Longfellow about the Arcadia Valley in the 1800's. A short time later in a book entitled, Our America, John L. Stoddard wrote, "The subtle charm of tasteful homes, romantic walks, historic trees and mountains, and above all, the sentiment of poetry, lights Arcadia with an intellectual fascination as soft and tender as the moonlight, when it rises o'er the Ozark Mountains and pours a flood of sliver o'er the sleeping vale." Today, the Valley, located just 90 miles south of St. Louis, and nestled among the highest mountains of the Missouri Ozarks, continues to charm travelers with its beauty, quaint shops, delicious eateries and delightful inns. The Baptist Home-Arcadia Valley was established in 1913. As the ministry grew, so did the campus located near Ironton, MO. The Home serves nearly 120 residents offering--Nursing Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living Apartments. This beautiful and historic home is located in the Ozark Mountain Range in Southeast Missouri, known as the Arcadia Valley.
