campaign funding update
As of 7-16-2010, $469,829.84 in
cash and $10,484.69 in pledges has been raised and given by 549 donors
through 1,420 gifts and pledges for The House of Mercy project at Kobrin
Camp, Belarus. Like the planes shown on airline screens to chart the progress of your
journey, the chart above shows our progress reaching from The Baptist
Home in Missouri to The Baptist House of Mercy in Belarus. With a
distance of 5000 miles and a goal of $500,000, each mile represents
$100. Not included in the amounts above is a generous gift of
approximately $127,000 from a member of the Kobrin Church
in Kobrin, Belarus. European Baptist leaders have donated 2 Volkswagen
vans for transportation, money has been donated for 3 wind turbines to
generate electricity for Kobrin Camp and the House of Mercy, and nearly $5,000 has been collected from
Belarusian Baptist Churches.
