what is the baptist house of mercy
The Belarusian
man with the vision of the Baptist House of Mercy is Stepan Trubchik. Stepan is
a believer in Jesus Christ and has a heart for the elderly of his country. If
possible, Stepan would bring as many elderly as possible into his own home to
care for them with Christ-like love and care. But this is not reasonable. So
out of his dream and deepest prayers the Lord laid on his heart the dream of the
Baptist House of Mercy with the following mission statement.
The purpose of the Baptist
House of Mercy is to make God real to persons and to extend mercy and help to
those who are weak and left alone in this world.
The Baptist Home will not only help
provide the financial support in erecting a building but will also seek to share
its expertise with Stepan and his staff to give the highest quality of physical,
emotional and spiritual care for the elderly of Belarus.
