The Baptist Home - Chillicothe, opened its doors to residents in March of 1988. It is home to 54 residents; 34 in Nursing Care and 20 in Assisted Living. There are currently 16 Independent Living Retirement Apartment and additional homes are planned. This beautiful new Home is in a highly visible location just off Highway 65 in North Chillicothe. Many churches in North Missouri have made The Baptist Home -Chillicothe a part of their ongoing ministry. The campus has an on-campus park, paved walking trails, gardening, and Lake Mary fishing. Nearby are 18-hole and 9-hole professional golf courses, 6-screen movie theatre, little league 3-diamond ball park with paved walking trails and tennis courts, modern city park with swimming pool and soft walking trails, and a modern YMCA with walking track, swimming pool, exercise equipment and gymnasium.
